In my opinion, this is the best Mexican cuisine on the South Shore. Large portions, great choices. And as usual, I had advanced my abilities with the helpmof the lords lettuce. So also as usual I forgot to take pictures. I had this amazing Chalupa... it was at least 4 inches tall of chicken, cheese, and their tasty red sauce... 😋 My wife, she had her usual shredded beef Encinitas... she loves this so much. It's her favorite this on the menu. Aside from their Ultimate Margarita's which as an FYI... You can get to go... you just need to ask for a Margarita to go. You can get a 16 oz of a 32oz. When you go in, tell them Charles (the guy with the Bruins Porkpie hat) sent you... it won't get you anything. But... I'd love to hear their reaction to it.

I ask for a chicken taco. The chicken has no flavor at all. The drinks tasted better than the food.the waitress was very unhelpful as well. Very cheap with the cilantro and told me we can't order shrimp tacos unless we ordered it with rice and beans or replaced it with something else when all WE WANTED WAS SHRIMP TACOS.

Meh. Food was okay but service was really slow. Our server kept talking to some guy at the bar and I finally had to get up and hand our check and payment to her so that we could get out the door. The salsa that went with the chips was nice and thick. Our burritos and chimichangas were decent. The food portions were reasonable. However the price for three of us was more than $90 with drinks, tax and tip. A bit excessive for basic Mexican food in my opinion. It was also odd that the hallway to the restrooms went through the kitchen area.

La Paloma has been my "Hidden Gem" place for Mexican-ish food since College. The margaritas are HUGE, the food is DELISH, and everything is VERY well priced. Driving can be a hassle, so be sure to give yourself some time to get there, ESPECIALLY during Rish Hour
